I LOVE OBAMA, I was actually for Clinton at the beginning because Obama was so HORRIBLE at the debates(although he has gotten WAY BETTER in the recent months)...but what made me switch over was the fact that Bill Clinton referred to Obama's win in South Carolina to Jesse Jackson in order to marginalize his victory, he was basically alluding to the fact that Obama only won cuz he was black, with statements like that no wonder blacks are turning to Obama more than Clinton... if Clinton wins the nomination, I bet u anything there is going to be a switch in demographics...
People don't know this but most blacks were Republican before most of them switched to being democrats. The reason so many blacks were Republicans was becuz Ab Lincoln was the founder of the G.O.P. and he was the one who freed the slaves, but during the era of JFK and LBJ blacks turned more over to the Democrats, not because they somehow had a change of heart, becuz that wasn't the reason...
The reason was becuz the Dems had the presidential power in that era and since JFK and LBJ were Dems who were actually pro civil rights blacks naturally went along with that political party to suit their needs for fair treatment...The point is that I DON'T WANT ANYONE THINKING THAT IF WE GET SCREWED THAT WE WON'T CHANGE PARTIES AGAIN...blacks make up ALOT of the south and when the General election comes around, and the Dems need that southern vote to win in the ELECTORAL COLLEGE don't come crying to the blacks.
Now I don't want to be rude or seem like a seperatist, because I'm not...the fact I want to warn the Dems about is that the black vote has been very loyal to the Dems for a long time now, but if you elect Clinton (someone the MAJORITY of the black community has DISOWNED)then the Dems better be ready for the BACK LASH!!! Because it was never about Obama being black that made us vote for him, HELL most blacks didn't even vote for Al Sharpdon when he ran in 2004, the reason most blacks are voting for Obama is becuz they HATE THE CLINTONS!!!

Right now, I'm still open to either candidate, and think that most of the turmoil is being stirred up by the media, who are determined to make this about race.

How the fuck do you allude that a person is were they are, even in politics, because they are black. Damn, blacks can't win for losing. We can never get credit for getting places based on hard work, intelligence and decipline. It always has to be about our color. What the fuck? Say what they want, democrates need the blacks who do vote to vote, so why the hell would they do things to isolate us.

I agree, there will be a backlash if it seems like any funny business took place and Obama is not the Dem nominee.
I hope Clinton isn't hanging in there just because of the "white" principle of the matter, you know, "keep the blacks out of the Presidency." I'd hate to think she's become one of them.

I actually liked the Bill when he was in office. I was equally divided when it came for Hilary and Obama. When Bill came out of his mouth with that foolishness, I quickly changed my tune in favor of Obama. I have voted republican before and I am not afraid to do it again!
yep thats right, although given the fact that McCain is the republican and he vote against MLK DAY and didn't help with Katrina when he could shows me Hillary would be better, but either way if Obama isn't choosen we are kinda screwed
